Despina Magiri-Skouloudi, MSc, is a member of PRAXI Network as a technology transfer consultant since May 2022 and as a National Contact Point for Horizon Europe since November 2022. She holds an Integrated Masters in chemical engineering from the University of Patras and an MSc in energy production and management from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). During her 4.5 years of working in EU-funded research projects at NTUA, she has participated as a research associate in project management, implementation and administration activities. She has co-authored 10 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences, with more than 86 citations. Her research interests include sustainability assessment, environmental, economic, socio-economic and technical evaluation of renewable energy applications and production of bio-based materials, with focus on biomass valorization, as well as emerging CO2 capture and utilization technologies. She also has more than 2 years of experience as a process engineering consultant with American Process Inc., in the areas of biorefinery design and operation, process modelling and optimization.
