The performance of almost all industries is significantly impacted by digital transformation, and healthcare is no exception. Especially for the healthcare and biotech sector, it is crucial to offer better patient care digitally, wherever the patient’s location may be. Moreover, there are growing opportunities in the diagnostics and healthcare sector related to digital transformation for innovative startups. In this interactive workshop, co-organized by the European Digital Innovation Hub smartHEALTH and EUROCC@Greece, we will introduce and highlight the importance of high-performance computing (HPC) and its technological features, focusing on the benefits provided. In addition, we will take a closer look at case studies where the use of HPC has led companies to develop new products and paved the way to new opportunities.
