Grigorios Vlahakis

Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Larissa General Hospital

Grigorios Vlahakis is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of the Larissa General Hospital from 7/2020 until today, dynamically implementing digital health policies in the city’s nursing institution that is often characterized as a pilot hospital.

He studied Administration and Economics with a specialization in Marketing and is a graduate of the Interdepartmental Graduate Program “Entrepreneurship” of the Departments of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Thessaly as well as the Graduate Program in Business Administration (MBA – Master in Business Administration) of the Hellenic Society of Business Administration ( e.e.d.e).

His involvement in the field of Health and Social Solidarity began in 2004, where he assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NPDD Center for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities of Thessaly “O ARISTEUS”.

His successful term resulted in him taking over from 2005 to 2007 Vice-President of the Board of Directors of D.Y.Pe. (Administration of the Health Region) of Thessaly in charge of the Social Solidarity sector with 5 NPDD under his responsibility.

With the unification of the health regions in 2007, he was appointed Deputy Governor of the 5th Health Region of Thessaly and Central Greece Responsible for the Social Solidarity sector with 11 NPDD under his responsibility.

In 5/2008 he took over as Governor and Chairman of the Board of Trikala General Hospital.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Nursing Home of Larissa, voluntary organizations and other organizations developing strong social action.
