Nikolaos Ploskas is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Western Macedonia. He holds a Ph.D. (2014), M.Sc. (2009) and B.Sc. (2007) in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. Before his current appointment, he served the Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, as a Postdoctoral Researcher (2015 – 2018). He has held short-term research visits at the Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, (2018, 2019) and the Cyprus University of Technology, Limassol, Cyprus (2017). He is the co-PI of SYNERGiNN EDIH, the Digital Innovation Hub of Western Macedonia.
